How To Make A Simple Syrup
What you will need
- 200ml water
- 200g of sugar
- Freshly picked herbs
- Clean jar
- Stir the sugar into water and warm over a low heat, stirring regularly until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Turn off the heat and add a large handful of freshly picked herbs. Leave to rest until cool.
- Strain out the herbs as you pour the syrup into a clean glass jar and chill for at least 2 hours in the fridge before serving.
Store in the fridge for up to 6 weeks.
